The Request for Proposals officially ended at 5:00 P.M., EST, October 17, 2016. We thank all of you for sending in applications and corresponding paperwork. 2017 grants were funded starting January 1, 2017 through December 31, 2017.
We review applications over a three to four week period. There are three levels to the process, ensuring a thorough review of all qualified applicants (if your organization does not meet our stated guidelines, you will not proceed in the review process).
Example: An Organization awarded a 2018 grant will be notified by mid December 2017. For those agencies who are not awarded, an email will go out mid to late December 2017.

Please note: Griswold Cares Foundation officially had a name change in September 2016. We are now known as Jean Griswold Foundation.
Where there is potential for funding, the Foundation may advise the organization on subsequent steps in the consideration process. These steps may entail a site visit as part of staff due diligence, a meeting/presentation to Foundation, and the submission of additional information.
